Gels Home Bed & Breakfast

After 20 years of operating an Adult Care Facility, the Gels family thought the Coldwater area needed a place for travelers to stay. In 2014, The Gels Home Bed and Breakfast opened. They provide a unique sense of community within the walls of their home. Each of their 4 rooms has a Lighthouse theme to mimic the serenity of their favorite spot, Big Sable Point Lighthouse where the late Ralph and Janet were lighthouse keepers every summer! The Gels Home has been a Chamber of Commerce member for almost 30 years and has their iconic "Coldwater Buggy"!

Penny Jane Art Co

Established in November of 2020, Pennyjane Art Co. is a gallery and studio in Coldwater showcasing handmade and original art created by local artists. Pennyjane Art. Co was the idea and dream of artist and owner, Jane. With her love and appreciation for art, she took a chance and opened her art gallery in Coldwater! If you get a chance, stop in at Pennyjane. They showcase local and regional artists and you will be sure to find something you can’t live without!

n 2017, First Choice Credit Union in Coldwater merged with Superior Credit Union, expanding the credit union’s ability to serve members in Mercer County. Their new office in Coldwater opened in 2018 and with 24 branches throughout Western Ohio and more than 100,000 members, Superior is now the 6th largest credit union in the state of Ohio! Superior Credit Union is a full service financial cooperative offering services such as home, auto and business loans as well as financial education services, online and mobile banking, wealth management and trust services.

TASTE OF THE TOWN

A fun opportunity for your business to showcase some of your fan favorites or for people to “taste” something new you’ve been wanting to try out. A great way to promote your business as the people of Coldwater come out for an evening of good food, music and socializing in our beautiful park.

COMMUNITY PICNIC PARADE

A way to cohesively represent some of our active chamber businesses that are not able to have an individual float in the Coldwater Community Picnic parade. This allows you to get promotional items for your business out to the public during one of the biggest community events of the year.

HOMETOWN CHRISTMAS

An event that kicks off the holiday season and encourages our community to shop local for the holidays. Advertising for your business prior, during and after the event along with an increase in foot traffic for those wanting to host a holiday sale or an open house.

ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET

A great networking opportunity for our local businesses as we honor those in our community. Also a great way to stay informed of what the Coldwater Chamber is doing for our members and ways we can help your business thrive locally.
